How district support and the SIAS process connect families with an appropriate placement pathway.
Every learner. A meaningful way forward.Speak to the learner’s current school. The school begins the SIAS referral, records the support already attempted and submits the required documents—commonly including SNA1 and SNA2—to the relevant district office.
If the learner is not enrolled, is home-schooled or attends an independent school, the family should contact the GDE district office where they live for the correct referral route.
